Surfbreak Cabarete Dominican Republic surf and yoga trip nature

House Rules

Please follow these simple rules & recommendations while staying with us. They are for the safety & comfort of you and your fellow travelers!

  • Please turn off all energy consuming devices (ex: fan and lights) when you leave your room. This helps us limit our energy usage and reserve resources for our planet.

  • Please close the entrance gates after entering and exiting.

  • Close and lock your door when not in your room, and at night.

  • Quiet time after 9:30PM. Surfers and yogis get up early. If you want to party into the night, the center of Cabarete is just around the corner...

  • Use our outdoor showers to wash off sand and sunscreen before entering the pools.

  • If anything in your room or elsewhere on the property does not seem to be working properly, please report it to us. We will have it fixed for you as quickly as possible.

  • We are in the tropics and food attracts various unwanted insects... Trash should be disposed of in the garbage bins outside the Surfbreak entrance gates. Any open food should be stored in the refrigerator.

  • We do not recommend drinking or washing your teeth with tap water. Use bottled water instead!

  • NO VISITORS allowed who are not staying at Surfbreak. If you want to invite a fellow traveler, kindly ask us about it.

  • NO ILLEGAL DRUGS allowed on the property. We reserve the right to evict guests who use illegal drugs without a refund.

  • DON’T FLUSH TOILET PAPER DOWN THE TOILET. Please dispose of it along with other hygiene products in the waste bin. We apologize for the inconvenience. This is common in most Latin American countries, otherwise the toilet will clog up...

  • Do not hang clothing on railings, doors, or gates. Please use the designated areas by the laundry room. This applies especially to Superior Rooms.

  • Deluxe Rooms: Close all windows before leaving your room. Heavy rains come unexpectedly and can cause major water damage.

Thank you!
